Noren started the final day six shots behind Wang but soon launched himself into the lead courtesy of six birdies on the front nine carding a 14-under total of 274.
His incredible round included eight birdies and an eagle on the five-par 10th hole to earn a place in the world’s top 10 for the first time in his career.
Wang shot a three-over 72 in the final round to drop down to second place for an eight-under-par 280.
The victory launched Noren into third place on the Race to Dubai rankings behind fellow Swede Henrik Stenson in the lead and England’s Danny Willett in second place.
Branden Grace finished as the top South African finishing in a five-way tie for third place on seven under par.
